Karina is a Puerto Rican illustrator and print designer working across editorial, apparel, murals, and product-driven projects. Her work blends vibrant color, rhythm, and textured forms to create expressive imagery supported by thoughtful research and design systems.
Rooted in cultural storytelling, community impact, and visual strategy, she develops illustration-led work that translates across formats, from large-scale murals to apparel prints and multi-channel campaigns.
She currently works as a Print Designer at Carter’s, developing apparel prints for baby and toddler clothing distributed nationwide. Alongside her in-house role, she collaborates with diverse cultural institutions, retailers, and creative teams on illustration-led campaigns and product-focused projects.
Outside of client work, she enjoys practicing yoga, hiking, beading, and collecting small visual moments that often find their way back into her work.
Available for remote freelance and contract projects. For commissions or inquiries, contact kcruzarte@gmail.com or view her resume.
