Karina is a Puerto Rican print designer and illustrator whose work is rooted in the natural world, thoughtful research, and community impact. Her work blends vibrant color, rhythm, and textured forms to create vibrant imagery that spans format, from large-scale murals to apparel prints and multi-channel illustrative campaigns.
She holds a BFA in Illustration with a concentration in Surface Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Currently, she works as a Print Designer at Carter’s, developing apparel prints for baby and toddler clothing distributed nationwide. Alongside her in-house role, she collaborates with diverse cultural institutions, retailers, and creative teams on illustration-led campaigns and product-focused projects.
When she's not designing, you can find her beading, dancing, or hunting for the next best foodie obsession.
