Drawing inspiration from her Puerto Rican heritage and the natural world, Karina is a multidisciplinary illustrator and print designer whose work radiates rhythm, color, and movement. Through vibrant, texture-rich visuals, she celebrates everyday life—crafting imagery that sparks connection and lasting impact.
She earned her B.F.A. in Illustration from SCAD, with a concentration in Surface Design and Concept Art, blending traditional techniques with digital tools to develop trend-responsive, on-brand solutions across commercial, fashion, editorial, and lifestyle spaces.
Her portfolio spans editorial campaigns, product design, and large-scale public art, with collaborations for clients including Walmart, NOWArt LA, Pregones/PRTT, Hyundai MGMA, and more. Currently, she works as a Print Designer at Carter’s, developing playful apparel prints for baby and toddler clothing seen by millions nationwide. She also manages a stationery line with over 100 products featured in shopSCAD and regional markets across Georgia.
Karina is especially drawn to collaborations rooted in cultural storytelling, community impact, and thoughtful visual strategy.
