Drawing inspiration from her Puerto Rican heritage and the natural world, Karina is an illustrator and print designer focused on celebrating everyday life. Through vibrant, rhythmic, texture-rich visuals, she crafts imagery rooted in cultural storytelling, community impact, and thoughtful visual strategy that sparks connection.
She earned her B.F.A. in Illustration from SCAD, with a concentration in Surface Design and Concept Art, blending traditional techniques with digital tools to develop trend-responsive, on-brand solutions across commercial/public, fashion, advertising, editorial, and lifestyle spaces.
Aside from some fun collaborations, Karina currently works as a Print Designer at Carter’s, developing playful apparel prints for baby and toddler clothing seen by millions nationwide. She also manages a stationery line with over 100 products featured in shopSCAD and regional markets across Georgia.
On her free time, you can find her practicing yoga, beading, felting, hiking, or honing in her 100th hobby.
